MILLER,MARY NELSON, 102Gainesville, FL - Mary Nelson Miller, age 102, passed away July 14th, 2012 at the E.T. York Hospice Care Center in Gainesville. She was born on August 15th, 1909 in Henderson, KY, a daughter to the late Clifton Towns and Annie Amanda (Hambleton) McClanahan. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her first husband Earl Nelson, second husband Bill Miller, Jr. and two sons, Bill and David Nelson. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, a son, Jon D. (Johanna) Nelson of Tallahassee; a daughter, Judy Nelson in Puerto Rico; daughter-in-law, Pat Nelson of Gainesville; seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Mary will always be remembered for her zest for life, her twinkling blue eyes, and her warm and welcoming smile. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
