JOHNSON, MARY MILDRED - age 91 of Knoxville formerly of Strawberry Plains and Dandridge, left this world Saturday, September 6, 2014. She was a member of the Ebenezer Baptist Church and was an employee for Hillcrest Nursing Home for over 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Pearlee Jones; husband, Frank (Tom Cat) Johnson; brothers, Earl, Paul, William (Bud), Leroy, and Bob Jones; sisters, Gladys Glenn and Ella Spriggs; nieces and nephews, Bill, Faye, David, Jeff, Wayne and great-niece Nancy. She was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews, Carolyn, Polly, Charles, Bobbie Jo, Freddie, Jack, Gary, Ray, Ann Ron, Mike Paula, Linda, Johnnie, Bill, David and special great nephew, Michael Spriggs who cared for her thru her illness; sisters-in-law, Georgia Jones and Mary Edna Jones and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews; special friend and roommate at NHC, Helen Stone.
