ObituaryMary Margaret Williams passed away Saturday evening, March 20, 2010. She was 85 years old. Mary was born in Ohio on Nov 19, 1924 to Ida May Baker and Walter Raymond Meyers.She is survived Herman, her husband of 62 years; children Cynthia Lupton, Marsha and Thomas; siblings John, Beulah and Roberta; 7 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.Mary taught kindergarten in Tiffin, Ohio for many years before retiring to Florida. She was a cellist with the Heidelberg Community Orchestra and belonged to the Lehigh Community Chorus, church choir and bell choir. She volunteered with the Literacy Volunteers of Lee County, public libraries and at her church. Mary was an avid amateur genealogist.A memorial service is being held at Faith Lutheran Church, Lehigh Acres on Tuesday, March 23 at 7 PM. A memorial service will also be held in Ohio at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church's Music Department, 705 Leland Heights Blvd., Lehigh Acres, FL 33936.
