CRAWFORD, Mary LucileKennedy, age 93, died August 29, 2009. Mrs. Crawfordwas born June 14, 1916 in Birmingham, where she grewup as the youngest child in afamily of 7 children. She liveda very active life for many,many years in Autaugavillewhere she made her homeand where she was a member of the Autaugaville UnitedMethodist Church. She waspreceded in death by herparents, Sam and Iva Kennedy; her beloved husband,Jefferson Calhoun Crawford,Sr.; a stepson, Jefferson Calhoun Crawford, Jr.; and astepdaughter, Hope Crawford Wadsworth. She was alsopredeceased by her sisters,Methel Sizemore and AnnieSorrell and her brothers,Reese Kennedy, Ralph Kennedy, Earl Kennedy and RoyKennedy. She is survived bytwo stepdaughters, JeanCrawford Mills (and husbandJames), of Dallas TX and Doris Crawford Hodgson (andhusband Robert), of BayMinette. She is also survived bynumerous nieces, nephews,great nieces and nephews,step grandchildren and stepgreat grandchildren. Shemaintained a very close relationship throughout the yearswith a special nephew, Robert Sorrell of Largo, FL. The funeral will be at Ridout's Funeral Home in Prattville at 11:00a.m. on Tuesday, September1, 2009, with the Reverend Anthony Antonelli presiding.Burial will follow the service atPrattville Memorial Gardens.In lieu of flowers, the familyrequests that donations bemade in memory of Mrs.Crawford to the AutaugavilleUnited Methodist Church Ridout's Prattville Chapel Directing
