Mary Kathryn Morrissey died May 24, 2009 in Dutchess County. Mary K. was born to the late Dr. Paul C. and Anna Mae (Gorman) Morrissey. She was a teacher for the Archdiocese of New York teaching at Blessed Sacrament Elementary School for 25 years. She recently retired from the Jewish Community Center in White Plains, New York where she continued to educate children. She retired to Poughkeepsie, New York in 2007. She is survived by her brothers, Paul Morrissey of Baldwinsville, New York and Peter James Morrissey of Michigan and two sisters, Pat Damore of Poughkeepsie and Eileen Jerdonek of Alexandria, Virginia and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Jane Kirschten. Funeral Services were private.
