Mary Jane Calhoun, 77, of New Smyrna Beach, died Sunday, September 19, 2010 at Florida Hospital, Orlando. Mrs. Calhoun, a homemaker, was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and moved to New Smyrna Beach in 2001 from Onsted, Michigan. She was an active member of Coronado Community United Methodist Church, New Smyrna Beach. Survivors include two sons, Doug Calhoun of Plymouth, Minnesota and Ron Calhoun of Perry, Michigan; two daughters, Nancy Johnson of Robbinsdale, Minnesota and Martha Hess of Grandview, Missouri; 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Rev. Donald E. Calhoun in 2007. Memorial service will be 2PM Thursday, September 23, 2010 at Coronado Community United Methodist Church with Rev. Robert C. Brown, Pastor, officiating. Cremation will be by Dudley Crematory, New Smyrna Beach.
