MARY HELENKNAPP, 89 WINTER HAVEN - Mary Helen Knapp, 89, of Winter Haven, FL, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center due to complications from a fall. Born February 15, 1923 in Corning, New York she moved here in 1988 from Corning. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Winter Haven; a member of the Wood Crafters; and was a Volunteer at the First Baptist Church Haley Center. Preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Knapp, a son, Gregory Knapp, and a brother, Warren George Stuart. She is survived by: a son, Bruce Knapp of Annapolis, MD; 3 daughters, Sandra Wolf of Riverdale, NJ, Marcia Baker of Winter Haven and Pamela Rivkin of West Bluefield, MI; seventeen grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. The family is having a private service and Mrs. Knapp will be buried with her husband at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
