SMITH, Mrs. Mary Grider, 74, a resident of Wetumpka, AL, died Wednesday, November 7, 2001. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 9, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. from the Thelma Baptist Church with Dr. Sam Brassell, Jr. and Dr. Greg. Pouncey officiating. Interment will follow in Pine View Memorial Gardens with Ellison Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jack Smith of Wetumpka, AL; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Dicie Smith, J. T. and Melanie Smith, all of Wetumpka, AL; one brother, Frank Grider, Birmingham, AL and five grandchildren, Calvin Smith of Atlanta, GA, Kirk Smith, Jes Smith, Aaron Smith and Olivia Smith, all of Wetumpka, AL. Active Pallbearers will be Floyd Fitts, Edgar Ryals, Tom Farmer, Robert Aplin, Wayne LaHue and Ray Dennis. Mrs. Smith along with her husband, Mr. Jack Smith, has owned and operated Smith's Wrecker Service in Wetumpka for 31 years.
