Mrs.Hughes was born on October 31, 1918 to William andEllen Amelia Morris in Augusta, Georgia, and livedthere until she married thelate L.C. Hughes. She wasan active member of RigbyStreet Baptist Church inMontgomery where shemade and loved manyfriends. Her love in life washer sweet children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and her dogs, Shashaand Tootsie Roll. Mary willbe remembered by allwho knew her for her unconditional love. Mary waspreceded in death by herson, Randy Hughes. Sheleaves behind her children,Janet Arnette, Laverne Dismukes, Diane Blake, JulieSanford and JohnnyHughes; eighteen grandchildren and many greatgrandchildren.
