ROGAN, MARY ELLENMary Ellen Rogan, of Yorktown Heights, NY, died on February 1, 2005. She was 93 years old. Mrs. Rogan was born on July 11, 1911 in Manhattan, NY to Henry and Mary McGloine Doherty. Mrs. Rogan worked as a Manager for the Bank of New York in Yonkers, NY before retiring in 1976. On February 26, 1937, she married Dominick Rogan at the Good Shepard Church in New York City. Mary was a very active member of the Yorktown Senior Citizens Center. She is survived by her loving children: Mary Maskara of Mahopac, NY and Patricia Melzer of Kissimmee, FL; her sister, Ann Schilling of Ft. Myers, FL; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Dominick; her two brothers: Henry and James and her two sisters: Dorra Harrington and Barbara McGuiness. Visitation will begin on Friday from 4-8 pm at Cargain Funeral Homes, Inc., 418 Route Six, Mahopac, NY 10541 (845)628-5655. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday at 10 am at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Interment to following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
