McDONALD, MARY ELLEN, 60, of Orlando, FL, passed away Friday, January 16, 2004. Born in Manchester, CT and lifelong resident of Orlando, she was the salutatorian of the 1961 graduating class of Bishop Moore High School. After receiving her Bachelors of Science from Barry University, she taught for many years at St. James Catholic School and for the last several years served as a substitute teacher throughout the Orange County Public School system. Preceded in death by parents, John Albert and Gertrude S. Odermann, she is survived by her husband, the Honorable Judge Roger McDonald of the Ninth Judicial Circuit; son, Kirk McDonald; sister, Gail Campbell; a niece and a nephew. A truly kind soul, her gentle spirit and gentler heart will be forever missed. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 25, 2004 at 4PM at the Cathedral Church of St. Luke, 130 N. Magnolia Ave., Orlando, FL 32801. In lieu of flowers, donations should be made to the Pinecastle Elementary Music Department, 905 Waltham Ave., Orlando, FL 32809.
