MONTGOMERY, MARY ELIZABETH "LIBBY" HILL Age 73 of Birmingham, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2011. Libby was born on April 6, 1938 to F. Delmar and Mary Elizabeth Hill. She was preceded in death by her daughter Nelle Shuford Snow Longshore and is survived by her children: Lisa L. McManus, Leslie L. Abney (Clay) and by their father Leslie C. Longshore, Jr.; grandchildren: Mark McManus, Jr. (Leigh), Elizabeth M. Mock (James), David, Ben and Jonathan Abney. Libby is also survived by her brother F. Delmar Hill, Jr. (Carolyn); nephew F. Delmar Hill, III; nieces Catherine S. Mauldin (Steve) and Elizabeth F. Israel (Jason) and by several other family members. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 3rd beginning at 6:00 pm until 8:00 p.m. at Ridout's Valley Chapel in Homewood. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 4th at Fullness Christian Fellowship. In lieu of flowers memorials in memory of Libby Hill may be made to Mulherin Custodial Home, 2496 Halls Mill Road, Mobile, Alabama, 36606.
