Mary E. MillerFebruary 15, 2011Mary E. Miller, formerly of Fort Myers, died on February 15, 2011 in Vail, Arizona. She was born Mary Elizabeth Rumpke on March 6, 1922 in Springfield, Ohio. Mary married George Miller in 1944, and they moved to Florida in 1966. Mary worked for the Lee County Board of Public Instruction in food service at Orangewood Elementary School and Fort Myers Middle School. She moved to Arizona in 2006. Mary is survived by her son Bill (Bobbie) of Vail, Arizona, her daughter Linda of Vail, Arizona, her granddaughter Shana Crowley (Damon) of Lehigh Acres, her great-granddaughters Morgan and Amanda Crowley of Lehigh Acres, and her sister Mildred Gordon of North Fort Myers. Mary was preceded in death by George in 2004. Mary's final resting place will be with George in Arlington National Cemetery.
