Mary (Mae) Dwyer, a resident of New Rochelle for 26 years, died on December 12, 2005. She was 89. Mrs. Dwyer was born on September 26, 1916 to Mary Claire and Thomas McAleavey. She worked for Wilson Publishing Co. in the Bronx for many years before retiring and moving to New Rochelle. Mrs. Dwyer is predeceased by her husband Edward who died August 18, 2004. They were married in Manhattan in 1938. She is survived by a son Edward Thomas Dwyer of Thiells, NY; two daughters: Eileen Morizzo of New Rochelle and Maryellen Sheridan of Queens; three grandchildren: Dennis, Caren, and Kerry. She is also survived by her great-grandson James Martin Dwyer. Visiting will be Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel, 16 Shea Pl., New Rochelle. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10:30 am at Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. www.LloydMaxcy.com
