of Ormond Beach, Florida and Block Island, Rhode Island, died at the age of 88 on December 20, 2001 while visiting her family in Blauvelt, NY. She was born in Kalamazoo, MI on March 27, 19113. Her sister Phyllis and her loving husband Floyd predeceased her. Meg and Floyd traveled extensively within the United States and Europe for The Readers' Digest and various freelance writing assignments. Meg was the trusted proofreader and informal editor of the partnership. Floyd's works are in the Department of Special Collections at Boston University. Meg was an avid gardener and antique collector while living in Grandview-on-Hudson from 1945 until 1979. Her collecting avocation continued throughout her life to the amusement and consternation of some family members. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Anita Miller of Blauvelt and Block Island. Also, three grandchildren, Jennifer and her husband Bernard Olsen of Little Silver, NJ; Charlie Miller of Blauvelt, NY; and Betsy Miller, of Northport, LI. And, a great grandson Erik Olsen of Little Silver, NJ. She also leaves her sister-in-law and husband, Barbara and Jack Keil and dear nieces and nephews. A mass will be held on Saturday December 29th at St. Catharine's RC Church in Blauvelt, NY at 11:15 AM. Friends may call at the Hannemann Funeral Home in Nyack, NY on Friday December 28th from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM.
