On September 14, 2001, Mary Alice (Suydam) Jackson died at age 77 at Parkway North Care Center, Battle Ground, Washington after a lengthy illness. She was born on January 30, 1924, at Englewood Hospital, Englewood, NJ to the parents of Clarence Edward Suydam, Sr., and Lillian Mae (Sims) Suydam. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, William Ivan Jackson, formerly of Ossining, NY; sons, William Andrew Jackson and Kenneth Jackson; brothers; Clarence C. Suydam, Nanuet, NY; Peter Suydam of New York City and sister, Elinore Walker of Lauderhill, FL. Mary was predeceased by her parents, a brother, Willis and sisters; Betty Wilson and Margretta Webb. Private services will be held in the state of Washington.
