SMITH, MARTHA (STALSWORTH) - 88, of Blaine passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014 after a long illness. She was a life-long resident of Blaine, TN and a member of Indian Ridge Baptist Church. She is survived by son, Rodger Smith (Wanda); daughter, Vickie Smith McClain (Danny); grandchildren, Kent Smith (Melissa), Trent Smith (LaDonna), Jason Smith, April Sparks (Thomas), Heather Henderlight (Josh), and Brandon McClain; great-grandchildren, Derek, Lenee and Zeek Smith, Gavin and Avery Henderlight, Brenna and Anja Sparks; sister-in-laws, Sylvia Stalsworth and Jewel Smith; and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by father, D. R. Stalsworth and mother, Pearl Dixon Stalsworth; husband, Roy Wallace Smith; brothers, Jake Stalsworth and John Stalsworth; and sisters, Edith Jennings, Ova Ramsey, Georgia Kimbrough, and Mae Moody. Funeral services will be 7:00 PM Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Satterfield officiating. Family and friends will meet 10:45 AM on Wednesday at Indian Ridge Cemetery for an 11:00 AM graveside service with Rev. Mike Napier officiating. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
