WRIGHT, Martha LeighSmith, age 71, passedaway on Wednesday, October 19, 2011, following along and courageous batter with cancer. Marthawas the daughter of TamzieBell Hargrove Smith andWilliam David Smith ofMontgomery, Alabama.She is preceded in deathby her two older brothers,Bill Smith and Rev. Talmadge Smith. She is survived by her two daughters, Wendy Wright and Kelly Wright Gates; grandson,Will Martin; son-in-law, David Gates; sisters-in-law,Jane Smith and JohnnieSmith; and several niecesand nephews.Martha graduated fromRobert E. Lee High School,Montgomery, Alabama in1958, and was in the firstgraduating class that completed 10th, 11th, and 12thgrades at the then newesthigh school in Montgomery.Martha worked for 36 yearsat Noland Company in Ft.Walton, Fl., and was a highly respected and knowledgeable employee ofNoland Co. Martha had aspecial love for life and foreveryone she knew.Funeral services will beheld on Saturday, October29, at 11:00 AM at the FirstBaptist Church of Fort Walton Beach, Florida.
