Obituary of Marilyn Anderson


Marilyn Anderson Marilyn Anderson died Sunday, Aug. 13, 2006. No services are planned. Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Riggins Road Chapel (850-877-8191) is handling arrangements. Marilyn was a devoted mother who survived polio as a teenager and went on to raise six children while living in Minnesota, Tennessee, Florida and Alberta, Canada.She moved to Tallahassee in 1987 and worked for 10 years as a unit clerk at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital, where she touched the lives of many people. She retired in 1997 and devoted herself to her grandchildren, her garden and crossword puzzles. She was a kind and loving soul who will be missed by her family and friends.She is survived by three sisters, Lily Luke, Gloria Bray and Gladys Lynch, all of Minneapolis; a brother, Andrew Jessen (and wife Laurel) of Minneapolis; six children, David Anderson (and wife Mary) of Monument, Colo., Gayle Keller (and husband Stephen) of Tallahassee, Laurie Anderson Bukalo (and husband John) of Little Falls, N.J., Arnold Anderson of Omaha, Neb., Dianne Cannella (and husband Robert) of Tampa and Chank Andermack (and wife Heidi) of Minneapolis; and nine grandchildren, Tim Anderson, Michael Bukalo, Samuel Sparks, Dustin Keller, Caleb Keller, David Keller, Daniel Keller, Roberto Cannella and Maximillian Andermack.
