Marie "Mary" Williams, a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died on January 11, 2008. She was 78. Mrs. Williams was born on September 18, 1929 in New Rochelle to the late Carmelo and Theresa (Recupera) Cataldo. Mrs. Williams worked for over twenty years in the New Rochelle School District and was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church. She was predeceased by her husband George whom she married on June 6, 1954 . He died on September 26, 1988. She is survived by five children: Leonard Williams (Annette), George Williams, Patricia Lapponese, Steven Williams (Johnna), and Paul Williams (Maria); eight grandchildren: Marissa, Leonard, Nicole, Christina, Anthony, Rachel, George and Jillian; three sisters Josephine Raplee, Florence Caiano and Carmela Tebolt; a brother Joseph Cataldo. She was predeceased by a sister Yolanda D'Onofrio and a brother Frank Cataldo. Visiting hours will be Saturday EVENING 7-9pm and Sunday 2-4 &7-9 pm at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc. 16 Shea Place. New Rochelle. A funeral Mass is scheduled for Monday 10:30am at Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment will follow Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Sisto & Paino, Inc.
