Obituary of Margie-Sheppard Johnson


JOHNSON, Margie Sheppard, 80, a resident of Shorter, Alabama, died Tuesday, March 11, 2003 at Com-munity Hospital in Tallassee. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 13, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Tallas-see, Alabama with Rev. Ray Bass and Rev. Ed Glaize officiating. Burial will follow in Bradford's Chapel Cemetery.Mrs. Johnson is preceded in death by her husband, T. F. Johnson and great-grandson, Toliver Drake Johnson. She is survived by two sons, Ted Johnson (Marjory) and Harold Johnson (Diann); four grandchildren, Johnny Johnson (Regina), David Johnson (Mel-anie), Amy Johnson and Shanna McFarland and five great-grand-children, Jessea Rai Dennis, Eliza-beth Susan Johnson, Avery Dawn Johnson, Hannah Grace Johnson and Lane Carter Johnson and many friends and relatives.Mrs. Johnson was retired from the state and was active in her church and other community groups. Visi-tation will be held at Jeffcoat Fu-neral Home in Tallassee, Wednes-day, March 12, 2003 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Methodist Chil-dren's Home, Macon-East Mont-gomery Academy Building Fund, or your favorite church or charity.Jeffcoat Funeral HomeOf Tallassee Directing
