MURPHY Margaret M. (nee Crowe), age 77, of Dumont, NJ, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2012 at Holy Name Hospital, Teaneck, NJ. A native of Clohanmore, Miltown Malbay, County Clare, Ireland, she immigrated to the United States in 1956 and lived in New York City before moving to Dumont 36 years ago. Mrs. Murphy retired in 2007 after working 29 years as a Nurse's Aide at Woodcrest Center, New Milford. Margaret was the beloved wife of the late Patrick James Murphy, the devoted mother of Patrick J. Murphy and his wife, Karolee, Anne Murphy, Norah and her husband, Art Lynch Jr., and Teresa Murphy. A great joy in Margaret's life were her cherished grandchildren, Noreen, Patrick, Fionah, Amelia, and the late Cole. She is survived by eight siblings, Mary Nesbitt, Kitty Donnelly, Jamsie Crowe, Bridget O'Sullivan, Teresa Lydon, Thady Crowe, Nora Corcoran, and Helen Walsh. She was predeceased by her parents, Nora (nee: Talty) and Timothy Crowe and three brothers, Stephen, Paddy, and Thomas. Funeral Wednesday 10 AM from the Frech Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont. Funeral Mass 11 AM at St. Mary's RC Church. Interment at St. Anthony's Cemetery, Nanuet, NY. The family will welcome friends Tuesday, from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM.
