PRICE, Mrs. Margaret Melodine, 82, a resident of Luverne,AL, died Wednesday, December 27, 2006. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM Friday,December 29, 2006 in the Sardis Cemetery with Bro. DavisMoorer officiating and TurnerFuneral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Price is precededin death by her husband, Shuley L. Price; a son, Herold Franklin Price; parents, V.L. and HazelBeasley Owens; and two brothers, Gilbert L. Owens and RufusRay Owens. She is survived byten children, Margaret Faurotof Montgomery, Ann Thomas ofLuverne, Shirley(Tony) Martinez,Judy Hodges, both of Montgomery, Daisy (David) Butsonof Ft. Davis, TX, Angie Price ofLuverne, Marsha Scroggins,Harry Price, both of Montgomery, Gerry Price, and MickeyPrice, both of Luverne; tengrandchildren; eleven greatgrandchildren; one sister,Bonnie Faye Duncan of Highland Home; a brother, Hoover(Virginia) Owens of Wetumpka;and special friends, Tina Mathis, Reba Brooks, Cindy Brown,Becky Reese, Helen Owens,and Betty Brown. Active pallbearers will be Danny Thomas,Randy Beasley, Eddie Henderson, Jimmy Price, Tim Faulk,and Alan Dale Owens. In lieuof flowers, contributions maybe made to the American LungAssociation, Lighthouse Hospice of Alabama, Troy, AL, or toone's favorite charity.
