Obituary of Margaret-H. Harmon


HARMON, Mrs. Margaret H., 82, of Titus, AL, passed away at her daughter's home in Birmingham on Sunday, November 25, 2001 after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 1, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Charles Hobson, Jr., and Dr. William E. Curl officiating. Interment will follow in Pine View Memorial Gardens with Ellison Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Harmon is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and Drew Ferguson, Birmingham, AL; Patricia and Vick Ashurst. One sister and brother-in-law, Katherine and Nelson Murchison, Wetumpka, AL; two grandchildren, Lee Ann Ashurst, San Francisco, CA, Jordan Ashurst. Active pallbearers will be Jimmy Murchison, Robert Murchison, Steve Murchison, Roger Murchison, Danny Murchison, Jamie Murchison, Sam Cooper, Mike Murchison. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Friday evening at the Ellison Funeral Home. Mrs. Harmon was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Annie Lee Hamlet. Two loving husbands, Luther Elvin Turner, and H.G. (Jed) Harmon preceded her in death. She was a member of the Wetumpka First Baptist Church and loved to cook and sew for others. She also was a very loving and giving Mother, whom will be greatly missed! May you rest in our heavenly Father's loving arms!
