Gloucester: Mae Myers Carter, age 98, passed away after a lifetime that spanned almost a century, November 10, 2009. Mrs. Carter resided for a long time in Daytona Beach, Florida, and for the last few years in Virginia to be near her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Robert Carter. She is survived by: daughter, Barbara Cuddihy; two granddaughters, Vicki Morrison and Donna Jeter; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be private.
