Mabel Frances Maxwell a resident of Ossining died Wed. Oct. 10, 2001 at Bethel Nursing Home in Ossining. Mable was born in Napanoch, N.Y. on April 18, 1905 the daughter of Cecil and Anna G. Smith. She was 96. Mable retired from the Federal Reserve Bank in New York and was a Member of the "Daughters of America" and St. Paul's on the Hill Episcopal Church. Mrs. Maxwell is survived by her sister Beatrice Losee, stepson David Maxwell, niece Beverly Vaillancourt, and two nephews William Losee and George Weeks. She was predeceased by her husband John Hirt, Carey Allen and Roy Maxwell, and her sister Frances Weeks and brother Alfred Smith.
