M. Lois Brown 1928 - 2008 ARLINGTON M. Lois Brown, 80, went to join her Savior on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008. Lois was born in Philadelphia, Pa., on Oct. 12, 1928, and was the daughter of William E. and Frances C. Hoff Friday. She married the Rev. Frank O. Brown Sr. on Aug. 20, 1949, in Philadelphia. For 22 years, Lois served with her husband, Frank, at the Derby Line Baptist Church. For the last 28 years, Lois had resided on Andrews Lane in East Arlington. From 1947 to 1949, Lois attended Philadelphia School of Bible which is now Philadelphia Biblical University. Lois was a member of the White Creek Baptist Church in White Creek, N.Y. Active in church her entire life, she adored singing and working with children. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family was her pride and joy. Her every moment was spent in faithful love and service to her Lord and Savior. Besides her husband of 59 wonderful years, the Rev. Frank O. Brown Sr. of East Arlington, she leaves five children and their spouses, Frank Brown Jr. of East Arlington, Lois Taylor of Morrissvile, Pa., Laura Wheeler of Seguin, Texas, Roy Brown of Southbridge, Mass., and Edward Brown of West Sand Lake, N.Y.; 15 grandchildren and 16 great -grandchildren, and a sister, Dorothy Ebert and her husband, Daniel Ebert III, who are both lifetime missionaries to the Phillipines. FUNERAL NOTICE: The funeral will be Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2008, at 10 a.m. from the MAHAR and SON FUNERAL HOME. Burial will take place in the family lot in Evergreen Cemetery in Arlington. Friends may call at the funeral home today, Tuesday, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m until the service at 10.
