COPPING, M. Audrey (Stewart). 1917 - 2007. Audrey Copping was born in Montreal in 1917 and died peacefully surrounded by her family in Victoria on February 17, 2007, after a battle with congestive heart failure. Audrey was the beloved wife of forty-three years to the late Dr. Gordon Allan Copping, and the loving mother of James Allan Copping and Andrea Elizabeth Copping, and grandmother of Eric Gordon Copping Christie and Diana Moen Copping Christie. Audrey is also survived by two loving brothers, Gordon Van Buren Stewart of Toronto and Robert Trevor Stewart of Vancouver. A memorial service will be held in Victoria, B.C., in March, followed by interment of her ashes in Montreal. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 2/26/2007
