Cook, Lynn Marie LATHAM Lynn Marie Cook, 27, of Latham passed away unexpectedly on Saturday June 2, 2007 at her home. Born in Troy on December 16, 1979, Lynn was the daughter of William A. and Julia (Keevern) Cook. She was a 1998 graduate of Shaker High School and was currently employed as a waitress and bartender at Beff's Restaurant on Everett Road. In her spare time, Lynn enjoyed reading and the show, Law & Order as well as dogs. She was very artistic and was talented in painting, stained glass and making jewelry. Lynn was known as a people person, she had a charming, fun loving and engaging personality which made her perfect for her occupation. She will always be remembered as a loving daughter, mother, sister, granddaughter, aunt and friend. Survivors include her parents, Will and Julia at home; loving mother to her 10 month old son, Christian Andrew and his father; brother, Brian (Suzanne) Cook of Latham; maternal grandparents, John (Marie) Keevern and paternal grandmother, Marie Cook, all of Clifton Park; nephew, William Andrew Cook II; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins and many special friends especially acknowledging Jason Macchi. She is predeceased by her paternal grandfather, William F. Cook. A celebration of Lynn's life will take place on Friday, June 8 at 10:00 a.m. at the Dufresne & Cavanaugh Funeral Home, 149 Old Loudon Rd., Latham, with the Rev. Nick TeBordo officiating. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. Interment will take place in Memory's Gardens Cemetery, Colonie In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 125 Wolf Rd., Latham, NY 12205.
