Lynn Jo Carter, 64, Bradenton, died May 26, 2006, at TideWell Hospice and Palliative Care House in Bradenton. She was born May 10, 1942, in Forrest Hills, Mass., and came to Bradenton in 1985 from Norton, Mass. She worked in real estate and law enforcement and part-time as a hairdresser. She volunteered for the American Cancer Society, Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen, American Red Cross, Meals on Wheels and the Share Program. She was a member of Senior Friends, Red Hat Society and St. Joseph's Catholic Church, where she was a Eucharistic minister and sang in the choir. Survivors include sons Mark Meninno and Keith Meninno, both of Clinton, Mass., and Scott Meninno of Assonet, Mass.; a daughter, Debbie Lynn of Attleboro, Mass.; brothers Robert Huber of Bristol, N.H., and Dennis Huber of Franklin, N.H.; sisters Geraldine Lynch of Bradenton, Betsy McSweeney of Bristol, Kathy Pope of Concord, N.H., and Thais Mooney and Ellen Braley, both of Alexandria, N.H.; her mother, Evelyn Huber of Bristol; eight foster children; and five grandchildren. A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow in the church's Garden of Peace Memorial Garden. Shannon Funeral Home, Town Chapel, is in charge.
