CANANDAIGUA- Lynda Merle Wood Hartman, 75, of Canandaigua, NY, passed away on March 31, 2014, at Thompson Hospital. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, (Apri. 26), at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 100 North Main St., Canandaigua. As the daughter of a ministerial couple, Lynda called many different cities home, growing up in Yakima, Wash; Bakersfield, Calif, Amityville, N.Y. and Brooklyn, N.Y.. After graduating from Ohio Wesleyan University, she moved with Charlie first to California and then to Geneva, N.Y., before settling in Canandaigua in 1976. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Canandaigua and she was active in township goverance in Hopewell.She is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years; Charlie Hartman; two children Laura Hartman (Dennis Frazier) and Eric Hartman (Carrie Hartman) and three grandchildren, Phillip, Matthew and Danaya.
