No to be overlooked were her gardening skills, especially her perennial borders. Her faith in her church and family never wavered and she was a friend to all. Lydia worked for years at the Whitney Point Pharmacy, and after retiring she did a great deal of volunteering at the Senior Center, as well as St. Patrick's Hospitality Group. Donations may be sent to St. Patrick's Hospitality Group, Whitney Point, N.Y. There will be no funeral home calling hours. A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Patrick's Church, Whitney Point, N.Y. on Friday, July 13th at 11 a.m., and a hospitality luncheon following at 12:30 to meet relatives and friends. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Our thanks for the huge support given by family, friends, and church which enabled Lydia to bear her illness with such dignity. Her family takes pride that they gave Lydia a good quality of life in her last months. Lydia's family would like to thank Lourdes Hospice nurses and aids, especially Elaine Brown as well as stepdaughters, Jen, Ann, and Ellen for their bedside care.
