Lulu-Elizabeth Phillips, born in 1916, spouse of Stanley Phillips, died on May 18, 1916.
Lulu Elizabeth (Shotwell) Phillips, was born May 18th, 1916, between Andover, and Newton, New Jersey. She also lived with her Husband, Stanley, in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, and in Florida, and Georgia, and spent many months touring the USA with Stan and her two children, while Stan looked for Utopia. Lulu settled for a while in Plant City, Florida, and helped Stan with truck farm and grove and later worked at a bank as head of the Accounting Department. Lulu was proficient at playing the piano and accompanied Stan's singing in many Churches, social gatherings, radio, and the album "Golden Years". She crocheted beautifully and loved to surprise strangers and friends with doilies as gifts. She died of natural causes April 10th, 2009. Lulu is succeeded by her daughter, Nancy Booher, and husband Gary, and six grandchildren and spouses, and fifteen great-grandchildren. All who knew her are welcome to come to her daughter's home for a memorial service Saturday, April 18th, 2009, at 3:00 PM Harry T. Reid Funeral Home is in charge of all of the arrangements.
