SMITH Lula “ Lu” C. Smith, 90, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2003. Mrs. Smith was born in Birmingham, AL and had lived in Jacksonville since 1939. She retired from Sav-A-Stop as the Accounts Payable and Receivable Dept. Manager after 25 years. She was a very active member of Arlington United Methodist Church where funeral services will be hald at 2:00 PM Saturday, June 28th with Dr. Kenneth Minton officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery. She was a past President of the Abelia Garden Club, Chairman of the Plus 40 Club, and a member of the Super Seniors. She is survived by her daughters, Lynda (Don Larsson) Kucsak and Wanita (Robert) Daily; 2 brothers, Closier D. (Lauree) Crim and Kenneth (Rachel) Crim; 3 grandchildren, Michael (Amy) Kucsak, Sean (Anna) Daily and Brett Daily; 3 great-grandsons and 1 great granddaughter.
