Lula Mae Simpson, 64, Bradenton, died March 6, 2004. She was born July 11, 1939, in Alabama and came to Bradenton in 1960 from there. She was a housekeeper. She was a member of Church of Christ, Bradenton. Survivors include daughters Priscilla Johnson of St. Petersburg and Susan Johnson of Orlando; sons Samuel Johnson Jr. and Eddie Johnson, both of Bradenton, Vernon Johnson of Palmetto and Chris Johnson of West Palm Beach; a brother, Lincoln Persons of Alabama; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Westside Funeral Home, Palmetto. The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Church of Christ, Bradenton. Burial will be in Adams Fogartyville Cemetery, Bradenton.
