Lula Mae Johnson GREER, SC-- Lula Mae Campbell Johnson, 86, formerly of New Ellenton, widow of Hughie Thomas Johnson, died Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at The Cottages at Brushy Creek. A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Horace Eugene and Annie Mae Wood Campbell, she was a retired employee of Bailes-Collins. Surviving are four sisters, Emma Babb, Cora Campbell, Hattie Campbell and Ann Duncan (Jimmie) all of Greer. Mrs. Johnson was predeceased by one sister and three brothers. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 12, 2011, at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Jim Duncan and Chaplain Ralph May. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park. Honorary escort will be the Hannah Sunday School Class of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church. Visitation will be held 10:00-10:45 a.m. Friday at The Wood Mortuary. The families are at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Cottages at Brushy Creek Music Therapy Fund, 101 Cottage Creek Circle, Greer, SC 29650.
