JACKSON Lula Mae Jackson, a resident of 3818 Mecca Street passed February 24, 2011. She was a member of Greater Friendly Missionary Baptist Church, 1721 West 19th Street. Mrs. Jackson is survived by a devoted family that includes husband: Louis James Jackson; sons: Lawrence Jackson Sr. (Joan), Larry Jackson, Louis Jackson Jr., Jeffery Jackson, Charles Jackson; daughter: Arphine Anderson; sisters: Geneva Fields, Judy James, Mary James; brother: Frank James; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Jackson may be viewed on Friday at Carthage Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at her church and the interment will be in Edgewood Cemetery.
