Lula Mae Johnson, 94, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2003, at Laurel Baye Health Care Center.Born in Greenwood County, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Minnie Lee Courtney Hogan. She was a member of Springfield Baptist Church, where she served in many capacities.Survivors are two sons, Hurley L. (Barbara) Johnson and Robert M. (Ruth) Johnson, of Greenville; a grandson reared in the home, Robert L. White; 23 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 42 great-great-grandchildren.Funeral service: 11 a.m. Thursday at Springfield Baptist Church, with burial at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.The family is at 9 Wheeler Drive. -- Watkins Garrett & Woods Mortuary.
