Lula Elizabeth Jones, 87, of Elizabethtown, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, at Helmwood Healthcare Center.She was a native of Hardin County and attended Stephensburg Church of God of Prophecy.She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ervin Jones; three children, Jesse James Jones, Margaret Ann Clark and Retha Mae Kolley; her parents, Huel Roscoe and Mollie Jane Hatfield; five brothers, James Grimes, Joseph Paul Grimes, Louie Kenneth Grimes, Orville Grimes and Robert Matthew Grimes; and two sisters, Beulah Sheroan and Mary Brown.She is survived by three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.The funeral is at 2 p.m. Monday at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with the Rev. Wayne Napper officiating. Burial follows in Jefferies Cemetery.Visitation is from 2:30 to 8 p.m. today and continues after 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
