IN MEMORIAM LUCY WINNIFRED TALBOT (Winnie) Dec. 25, 1918 - Jan. 29, 2006 In loving memory of a dear mother, great-great-grand- mother and true friend. One year has gone by so fast We often speak your name All we have left are memories and your picture in a frame. Sadly missed and forever in our hearts. Your loving family and friends Published in the Montreal Gazette on 1/29/2007 (TALBOT, Lucy Winnifred (nee Jackson). Passed away peacefully at St. Margaret's Nursing Home, Westmount, on January 29, 2006 at the age of eighty-seven. Born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Minnie (Bouteillier) Jackson and wife of the late Sgt. George Robert Talbot of Glace Bay. She is survived by her children Terrence Talbot, Blair (Barbara) Talbot of New Hampshire, Blaine (Rachel) Viner and Jennifer (Martin) Viner-Crawford, sister-in-law Millie Jackson of Glace Bay, many grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews (cousins), her best friend of eighty years. Daisy Clarke of Toronto, and friends Irene Borden, Roger Drouin and Joyce Miller. Winnie was predeceased by her daughters Yvonne Parris of Nova Scotia and Diane Talbot of Boston, her sisters Margarete, Pauline and Isabel and her brother Foster also of Nova Scotia. She was a loving mother and homemaker and a loyal and true best friend to all. She will be greatly missed. A special thank you to the 3rd floor staff of St. Margaret's for their constant and loving care. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Mount Royal Funeral Complex on Saturday, February 4 at 11 a.m. (1297 chemin de la Foret, Outremont [279 6540]) Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian (Quebec) Cancer Society would be much appreciated. May she rest in peace. Published in the Montreal Gazette from 2/1/2006 - 2/4/2006)
