August 5, 2005 Lucy M. Porter, 88, of Marietta, died Friday at home. She was a 1935 graduate of Onondaga Valley Academy. Lucy worked 20 years for Lipe Rollway, retiring in 1982. She was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church, Marcellus. Her husband, John "Wink" Porter, died in 1955. Lucy is survived by three children: Beverly Porter, Joyce (Charles) Ellis and Larry Porter; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial funeral Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. August 23, 2005, in St. Francis Xavier Church. The family will receive friends in the church hall after the Mass. Burial will be private.
