She was born in Gainesville, FL to the late Logan and Luvenia Williams. She is survived by one sister: Laura Williams, Ellis; Gainesville, FL. Eight nephews: Ulysses Ellis, Jr., Earthy Ellis, Levi Henry, Jr. (Emma), Garrett Ellis (Gwen), Mercer Ellis, Ivan Mitchell, all of Gainesville, FL, Tommie Ellis (Vernett), Tampa, FL. and Robins Ellis. Atlanta, GA. Three nieces: Claudia E. Rawls, Shirley Ellis, both of Gainesville, FL, and Luvenia E. Hopkins, Orlando, FL; five grand nephews, seven grand nieces, two great grand nephews, and two great grand nieces. Graveside services for Mrs. Williams will be held, 3pm Sunday, April 20, 2008 at Grasslawn Cemetery, Gainesville, FL, Rev. W. G. Mayberry, officiating. Arrangements entrusted to the Care of Chestnut Funeral Home, Inc., 18 N. W. 8th Avenue, Gainesville, FL. Mrs. Williams will repose in the Chestnut Memorial Chapel on Sat-, April 19, 2008, from 2-8pm.
