ALLENSTOWN - Mrs. Lucille H. (Neveu) Hamel, 81, a lifelong Allenstown resident, died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at her home on Bunny Lane.Born on May 2, 1932, Lucille was the daughter of Edouard and Mary Jane (Daneault) Neveu. She worked as an assembler for Sprague Electric in Concord and, at one time, had also been employed by AMF and Ober Mfg.Lucille loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, singing, and playing the piano.Members of her family include her husband of 63 years, Normand Hamel of Allenstown; four children, Pauline Sargent of Franklin, Robert Hamel and his wife, Tina, of Pembroke, and Donna Powers and her husband, James, of Allenstown; six grandchildren, Devon and Dylan Hamel of Pembroke, Lynn Sargent of Barnstead, Lucy Sargent of Pittsfield, and Janelle and Oceanna Powers of Allenstown; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Theresa Pryzbyla of Florida; and nieces and nephews.There are no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, Nov. 2, at 12:30 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Church in Allenstown.
