WILLIAMS Lucille Curry Williams, 84, passed away December 8, 2011. She was born December 4, 1927 in Old Town, FL, and graduated in 1945 from Dixie County High School in Cross City, FL. Lucille married Gary Lee Williams on July 31, 1948 having 67 years together including a 4 year courtship. They both enrolled at the University of Florida in 1948; Lucille in Education and Gary Lee in Electrical Engineering. Afterwards they moved to Miami where Gary was employed by FPL for 38 years and Lucille was employed as an assistant teacher for 22 years. She was an active member of New Prospect Baptist Church at Old Town, Miami Shores Baptist Church and later at Westwood Baptist Church in Live Oak. Lucille was a dedicated christian and a loving wife and mother. She is survived by her husband and three sons and their wives; Gary Ellis and Fiona Williams, Charles and Sharon Williams, George and Deanna Williams; seven grandchildren; Christopher (Penelopi), Jason, Michael, Phillip, David, Karen, Sarah; two step-grandchildren Kayleigh and Peter; two great-grandchildren, Brennan and Ellis Charles; two half-sisters Martha Alldreadge and Carolyn OBerry; two sisters-in-law and three brothers-in-law. Family and friends visitation was held at Daniels Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., on Monday, December 12, 2011, 6-8pm.
