Lucile Mary AllenLucile Mary Allen, age 84, of Clewiston, passed away May 16, 2007 in Lakeland.She was born Dec. 10, 1922, in Ft. Lonesome, the daughter of the late William Arthur and the late Miriam (Pollack) Joiner. She was a resident of Clewiston since 1945, moving from the Tampa area. Lucile was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clewiston.She was preceded in death by her husband Hugh.Survivors include two daughters, Cindy (Rick) Shearer of Clewiston, Alvina (Chick) Hackney of Orlando; one sister, Eloise (Stan) McCallum; grandchildren, Tony (Sonia) Whittle, Terry Whittle, Dr. Teena (Roger) Hughes, Rick (Joan) Jones, Stephanie Whiddon, Sara Story, Matt Shearer, Scott Shearer and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held on May 19, at First Baptist Church of Clewiston with Rev. Brian Hamrick officiating. Internment followed in Ridgelawn Cemetery.All arrangements were under the direction of Akin-Davis Funeral Home, Clewiston.
