Carter, Lucien I. Lou, 81, of New Port Richey, died Wednesday (July 4, 2007) at Community Hospital of New Port Richey. Born in Grafton, N.H., he moved here in 2003 from Billerica, Mass. He was a Marine Corps veteran of World War II and retired as a maintenance worker for Middlesex County, Mass. He was a member of the DAV and the VFW. He was Protestant. Survivors include three daughters, Velma Carter, New Port Richey, and Rosemarie McNamara and Roberta Kealy, both of Massachusetts; seven sons, Lucien Carter, Lester Carter, Leonard Carter, Lee Carter and Lionel Carter, all of Massachusetts, Larry Carter, Boston, and Milton Bernbaum, New Port Richey; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
