LUCIEN ERNEST LAVALLEE 1927-2004 The family announces with great sorrow his death at the St. Mary’s Manor on Tuesday, August 24, 2004 at the age of 76 years. Loving husband of the late Henriette (nee Thériault) (1987). Dear brother in-law of Georgiana Themmel (husband John) of Châteauguay, Québec, Raymond Thériault (wife Florence), Gerard Théiault and Hector Thériault all of Iroquois Falls. Uncle to Colette Lambert, Richard Thériault, Carole Harrold (husband Guy) all of Iroquois Falls, Monica Boulanger and John Themmel Jr. (wife Michelle) all of Châteauguay, Québec. Great uncle of Patrick Harrold, Paul & Bradley Boulanger and Alex & Roxanne Themmel. Lucien was born on December 26, 1927 in Ansonville, Ontario. He owned and operated Blue Bird Taxi Company in Iroquois Falls for nearly 30 years. He also owned the Welcome Tavern in Timmins for approximately 3 years as well as a convenience store on Hemlock Street. He resided at the St. Mary’s Manor in Timmins for the past 3 years. Lucien leaves behind to mourn his death many friends from the St. Mary’s Manor with whom he played cribbage and several card games. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 27, 2004 in the CHAPEL of the MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Fr. Leo Rancourt officiating. Interment will follow at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery. Remembrance donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
