CAMIRE, Lucien Michel Passed away on Sunday February 15, 2009 at the age of 89. Son of the late Louis Camire and the late Dorothee Caux. Predeceased by his daughter Lucille. Beloved husband of 65 years of Denise (nee Bourgeois). Loving father of: Pierre (Marthe), Therese (Marc), Marie (Andy), Claire (Ernest), Madeleine (Don), Louis (Karen), Gaetan (Helene), Lucille (Doug), Ghislaine (Andrew) and Christine (Dave). Cherished grandfather of 26 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. He will be missed by his sisters: Alice Vaillancourt (Raoul), Regina St-Pierre (Lionel), Adrienne Cantin (Late Gerard), Cecile Lacroix (late Rene), his brother Arthur (Yvette) and by many nephews, nieces and friends. Predeceased by his sisters: Lydia, Marie-Jeanne, Irene and by his brothers: Odilon, Emile, Samuel, Edouard, Jules (Simone), Alfred and Leonce. Special thanks to all the staff of the 5th floor at the Centre d'Accueil Champlain and from the 4C at the Montfort Hospital for their good care provided. Family and friends are invited at Racine, Robert & Gauthier 180 Montreal Rd., Ottawa (613-241-3680) on Friday February 20th from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday February 21st, 2009 at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes de Vanier Church 435 Montreal Rd., Ottawa at 9:30 a.m. In memory of Mr. Camire, donations to the Centre d'Accueil Champlain would be appreciated.
