<!-- DisplayFullObituaryText -->June 1, 1922 - June 20, 2014 Mrs. Louise Wright Carter passed away on Friday, June 20, 2014 in a local nursing home. She is preceded in death by her husband, William Maurice Carter, parents, James H. and Dora Belle Wright and three sisters and two brothers. She was born in Koenton, AL on June 1, 1922 and was a longtime resident of Mobile, AL. Louise was employed for many years at J. R. Taylor Inc. as comptroller and office manager. She was formerly a member of West Side United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. She was currently a member of Government Street United Methodist Church. Mrs. Carter is survived by the following nieces and nephews: Martha Bradley LeGros (Tom), Dr. James C. Bradley (Teri), William I. Bradley (Shellia), Reginald Loper (Jeannie), John Loper (Nelda) and Don Loper (Judy). She will also be fondly remembered by many great nieces, nephews and devoted cousins, Larry and JoAnn Shaver. The family wishes to extend special thanks to Sister Ellen Ann and Sister Cecilia and the entire staff of Little Sisters of the Poor for their love and encouragement and for the excellent care she received. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Friday, June 27, 2014 from 5:00p.m. until 6:00 p.m. A memorial service will follow in the funeral home chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Little Sisters of the Poor, 1655 McGill Avenue, Mobile, Al 36604 or to Government Street United Methodist Church, 901 Government St., Mobile, Al 36604.
