Smith, Louise M.Louise M. (Weezy) Smith, age 84 of Easton, beloved wife of the late Oliver N. Smith, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2014 in St. Vincent's Medical Center. Louise was born in Bridgeport, daughter of the late John E. and Anna Mongillo Agostini, and resided in Easton for 63 years. She was the retired owner - president of Bridgeport Aquarium, and after her retirement she worked at Silverman's Animal Farm. Louise was a life member and past president of the Easton Volunteer Fire Siren Aid, a volunteer at the Easton Senior Center, and a member of the Bridgeport Lions Club. Survivors include her devoted children; a son Jan H. Smith and wife Linda of Hamden, two daughters Marguerite Goodban and husband Steven of Oregon and Barbara Baldino and husband Fred of Stratford, six cherished grandchildren and three great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be held Monday at 9:00a.m., from the Redgate - Hennessy Funeral Home, Main Street and Gorham Place, Trumbull and at 10:00a.m., in Notre Dame of Easton Church, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Entombment will follow in Mountain Grove Cemetery, Bridgeport. Friends may call Sunday from 3 -7p.m., in the funeral home.
